1.Spandan Roy of class VIII of this vidyalaya scored Rank 22 in Unified Cyber Olympiad (2nd Level)-2011 with a rank below 100 on All India Basis. He is awarded with appreciation certificate, 2 CD Pack of Encyclopedia Britannica-Suduku Unlimited and Encyclopedia of India – worth Rs.990/- and also awarded with IIT Foundation and Olympiad Explorer-Mathematics book and awarded cash price of Rs.500/-.
2. Bhaskar Halder of class III of this vidyalaya scored Rank 79 in Unified Cyber Olympiad (2nd Level)-2011 with a rank below 100 on All India Basis. He is awarded with appreciation certificate, 2 CD Pack of Encyclopedia Britannica-Suduku Unlimited and Encyclopedia of India – worth Rs.990/- and also awarded with Hand book of Science-Junior.
Nation Children’s Science Congress
Eight projects were prepared in our school under the guidance of Dr. S. Das , PGT(Bio) out of which 02 projects were selected for state level at Bajajnagar , Jaipur on 24th and 25th Nov , 2011 after successfully completing the Cluster Level and Regional Level .
Sohini Dasgupta XI-C secured 1st Position at cluster level and also at regional level for his project on “Function of Land” and Spandan Roy VIII-B secured 1st position at cluster level and 2nd position at regional level for his project on “Community knowledge on land use”.
The students of KV. No.1 Ishapore have shown their excellence in various spheres.Their enthusiastic endeavour has brough laurels to the Vidyalaya.
1) In Science Faculty; Master Spandan Roy of VIII-B secured the second position in Quiz for National Exhibition in Jawaharlal Nehru Science Exhibition -2011 held on 20th & 21st Oct.- 2011 at Ahemdabad.
2) A team of fuou students of the Vidyalaya paticipated I the Science Quiz on Nuclear Chemistry at Regional level and secured the third position.
3) Another team of three members secured the first position at Cluster Level Junior Science Congress held at KV.No2 Kanchrapara.
4) 06 Students of our Vidyalaya got prizes in the Regional Level Youth Parliament for their brilliant performance.The Vidyalaya secured the second position in Youth Parliament at the Regional Level.
5) Master Anirban Roy of XI qualified for the National Leel Social Science Exhibition by securing the First positio in English Debate at Regional Level at K.V.No. 1 Salt Lake.
6) The students have also shown remarkable performance in the field of games & sports .We feel greatly elated to say the Miss Tanushree Choudhury of X-B set a glorious record by winning the Gold Medal in KVS National Games and got selected for SGFI in Tae-kwan-do. Apart from this six girls and one boy participated in KVS National Meet in various games & Sports like Chess, Athelics , BasketBall, Badminton & Cricket. Apart from this, Six girls and one boy get selected for KVS Namtional Meet in Various games and sports like Chess, Athletics, Baske ball Badminton & Cricket.
7) The Vidyalaya has a very active unit of Bharat Scouts and Guides Movement under the leadership of Mrs . n Das ; ALT Guide and HM of the Vidyalaya .We are pleased to inform you that two Guides of the Vidyalaya, Meghmala Mukherjee and Smriti Gupta of class XI attended the Rashtrapati Puraskar Testing Camp at Gadpuri in Haryana . 04 guides and 01 scout participated in the Rajya Puraskar Testing Camp. 08 guides & 08 scouts qualified in the Tritiya Sopan Test Miss Amrapali Chakraborty of class -Xgot the opportunity to participate in the National Integration Camp at Ganganagar.
8) Master Akash Dutt of XI Humanities won the Bronze Medal in the prestigious 44th West Bengal State Shooting championship -2011 held at NCRC between 7th to 11th September, in the open Site Air Rifle( B 27; youth) category
9) 105 students of the Vidyalaya participated in International Olympiad of Science . 08 students got olympiad Rank below 500.
10) In AISSE-2011 , 131 students appeared and all passed. 13 students secured 10 CGPA.
